Lee county officially
welcomed Kellve to Bishopville
with ribbon cutting on the 24:th
of January at Kellves new plant
facilities, located in James
Industrial Park.
According to Kellve CEO Daniel
Martinwall, the company chooses
Lee County because of the
willingness of the different
partners to work together in
bringing the industry to the
area. The expansion is according
to Martinwall a huge step for
Kellve and said “We have at the
moment eight facilities and are
one of the fastest growing
business in our field. Our
company has a strong growth
strategy and we believe the
potential here are enormous.”
Todd Tyner, the director of US
Operations said that, “Kellve
US, Inc. is very excited to host
our industrial and community
friends for this ribbon cutting
ceremony. The Kellve team that
we have established is looking
forward to a long and stable
relationship with the businesses
and citizens of Lee County and
Bishopville. I am pleased to
have Daniel Martinwall, Kellve
CEO/President and Anil Kumar,
Kellve Director of India, to
share in this special day that
we officially establish our
presence in the North American
continent and South Carolina. I
have to thank Robert “Ike”
Jenkins, Steven Watford, and
David Hopkins for their hard
work in preparing for this day
and for our startup. It is
critical to have quality people
in our organization in order to
succeed.”
The mayor of Bishopville, Tom
Alexander and Councilman Gordon
Eckley said in a speech,
thanking Kellve for opening the
plant in the region. “I cant
think of a better way to start
the new year than to welcome
Kellve to Lee county”, Eckley
said, while mayor Alexander
established that Lee county are
well set and are ready to move
forward when it comes to create
good possibilities and work
opportunities for its citizens
to have better lives”.
