On
May 14, another step in the
Kellve Bulkteknik´s history was
taken when two new factories was
inaugurated in Kvänum and one in
Tråvad. The facilities was
officially opened in the company
of representatives from
customers, suppliers, the
municipality and the press.
The new premises are the result
of the considerable growth the
company undergone the last years,
with an average annual growth of
100 percents since 2005. The
expansion has also led to an
increase of personnel and
production facilities. From
around 120 persons in the early
2007, a massive recruitment
process during 2007 has let the
company to grown to
approximately 200 persons.
Mats's Persson, CEO: “The
new premises are another step in
improving our competitiveness on
the international market. The
number of conveyors produced
have increased by three times
compared to just a year ago here
in Kvänum and we expect to see a
continued in the future. With
the new premises we have a
possibility to expand another 4
times. The new facilities in
Kvänum and Tråvad are an
investment of approximately
35-40 msek and give the company
the conditions for an
industrialized production of
belt conveyors.”
In connection with Kellve
Bulktekniks existing factory in
Kvänum has two new production
facilities of about 3000 sqm
each been built for material
handling and assembly of parts
and modules to completed band
conveyors.
Since last autumn Kellve
Bulkteknik also have a factory
in Tråvad of circa 2500 sqm.
Rebuilding and installation of
new and modern equipment has
since then been taking place in
these premises. A modern plant
for welding, blasting and
painting has been installed
side-by-side with the ongoing
production.
