within the entire value chain,
from planning and projectering
through design, production and
installation.
Together with the other parts in
the materials handling chain -
transport, dosage, weighing and
handling, we create efficient
and rational turn-key solutions
for our customers.
Within bulk handling and
material handling, one of the
most important and central parts
of a plant is usually one or
more silos and bins. It might
involve storage of raw
materials, buffer stock, dosing
bins och finished product bins,
or weight hoppers. It is the
client’s needs, the size of the
silo and the material to be
handled which determine in the
first instance how it will be
designed. We develop, design and
manufacture silos and silo
solutions in steel where there
are significant requirements in
terms of operating environment,
sealing and loading/unloading.
The designs are adapted
according to Swedish and German
standards and aspects of working
environment are dealt with using
a variety of dust and spillage
handling equipment. Silos of up
to about 250 m3 can be
manufactured directly in our
factory, while larger units, in
sizes of up to 15,000 m3 are
assembled on site. |

Different
silo configurations |
|
In addition to traditional,
round silos we also design and
produce silos with square or
rectangular cells with
corrugated walls. These can also
be supplied with smooth walls on
the inside. Square/rectangular
silos are more space efficient
and are a good alternative when
a large number of different
silos are to be positioned in a
small area.
It is the material which is to
be handled that directly
determines the configuration of
the solution, and in some cases
bolted silos from external
suppliers can be used. These
solutions are extremely
cost-effective and competitive
alternatives to the specially
adapted silo systems. |

Great possibilities for
silo adaptation |
|
The silo facilities can be
supplied with a number of
different output/emptying
devices such as fluidizing beds,
fluidizing nozzles, sweep augers
for emptying of flat bottomed
silos, self emptying discharge
cones, vibrating output devices,
screw feeds, chute valves etc.
During the last 15 years we have
supplied silo solutions for,
among other things, solid fuel,
animal feed, grain, lime,
cement, chemical products. |
