Strong expansion (107%), with
acquisitions, capacity expansion and investments in
machinery and equipment having characterised our
operations in 2006/07.
Our turnover during the year increased to SEK 209.5
million (107% growth). During the year, three
business areas have started to develop within the
group: Plant Projects, Belt Conveyor Projects and
Contract Manufacturing. All three business areas
have experienced strong growth in terms of turnover
and new orders during the year.
It is estimated that, in the 2007/08 financial year,
growth will continue to be strong and achieve a
turnover of over SEK 400 million.
In 2006/07, we have extended the plant in Kvänum by
around 2,000 square meters in order to ensure the
production volumes of belt conveyors. Our journey
towards an efficient and automated production
continues. During the year, blasting, cutting
processing and assembly were the areas of major
investment.
In the preceding year, we successfully began the
industrialisation of the Contract Manufacturing and
Belt Conveyor Project business areas, and are now
busy industrialising the Plant Projects business
area. The work of industrialising the Facility
Project business area is now at an intensive stage
and we estimate that this will generate
substantially higher margins in the group as early
as in 2007/08. In 2008/09, we estimate that the
industrialisation of all business areas will be
completed at a new level and will raise our margins
even further.
Alongside the group’s successes in Europe, the
Kellve group has set up a subsidiary with a design
centre in India. We view this venture as a guarantee
to ensure sufficient design capacity in the future.
The group continues to gain market shares in
Scandinavia. We are also witnessing an inflow of
orders to an ever greater extent from parts of
Europe outside Scandinavia. The Kellve group has
successfully continued to internationalise the
operations through growth on new geographic markets.
During the year, Kellve Installation was formed to
enable the group on an internal basis to provide
complete turn-key solutions. Kellve Installation,
founded in October 2006, plans, manages and carries
out installations and assembly in different parts of
Northern Europe.
In January 2007, IA-montage AB was acquired by
Kellve Installation AB and was merged into Kellve
Installation. Kellve Installation thereby received a
larger workforce and a competitive fleet of
machinery. The company has thereby acquired capacity
to carry out a number of major projects
simultaneously.
In February 2007, ASM i Askersund AB was acquired.
ASM operates within specially adapted systems for
bulk material handling with a high degree of design
and complements perfectly Kellve Bulkteknik AB’s
larger and more standardised solutions.
The Kellve group is a growth company in which the
long-term perspective characterises all of our
decisions. Our processing know-how and systems
concepts for complete facilities provide our
customers with secure and safe complete solutions.
The Kellve group continues on the marked out road
with additional specialisation within our sector. We
are, and will continue to be, the long-term secure
partner for our customers when it comes to handling
and storage equipment for the handling of bulk
material and for turn-key facilities.
