In the standard construction it is two metres long and has a 45° incline on the sides. The thickness of the sheet metal is 4 or 8 mm. The hopper can subsequently be furnished with an anti-wear covering of rubber or sheet metal to increase wear resistance. For totally enclosed conveyors a feed hopper with double rubber edges against the belt is recommended. |
